IncubatorCTX Pitch Perfect Competition is hosted at Concordia University in Austin, TX. Student teams will present their pitch to a panel of experts and one team will emerge as the winner.  Teams may be comprised of 3-5 students, undergraduate or graduate, from Concordia University Texas.   The winning team will receive scholarship funds for Concordia’s Graduate MBA program.

2022 IncubatorCTX Pitch Perfect Judges:

Dr. Neeta Bhushan – Emcee

Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur:  Dr. Neeta Bhushan is a former cosmetic dentist turned best-selling author, international educator, speaker, emotional health advocate & serial entrepreneur. Host of The Brave Table, Founder of the Global GRIT Institute, co-founder of the Dharma Coaching Institute, and 3x time author of the best-selling books Emotional GRIT: 8 Steps to Master Your Emotions, Transform Your Thoughts and Change Your World, The Book of Coaching, and The Business Book of Coaching.  

Neeta left her large dental practice to transform smiles from the inside out; a journey that led her across 45 countries developing research blending the fields of human behavior, ancient eastern philosophy, and therapeutic psychology.


Kim Barnes – Judge

Kim has spent more than 30 years on the air! Now, she coaches clients for on-camera impact. She works with executives, entrepreneurs, speakers, and small businesses owners who want to improve their on-camera presence, as well as their overall communication skills.  Kim was an award-winning reporter and news anchor for 15 years, including more than a decade at KVUE in Austin. Together with her husband Mike, the dynamic duo works as Barnes Team  Media. They have also founded Parenting Aging Parents, a community created to inform and support those who are caring for their aging parents. Kim is a member of the Concordia Communication Advisory Board. Kim received her Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.


Daniel Gonzales – Judge

VP of Product – Daniel Gonzales is a repeat entrepreneur with venture capital and private equity experience. Skilled in new venture creation and product development, Daniel is a Concordia graduate with an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

He is a co-founder and CEO of Autolabs, an AI-powered customer engagement platform for auto retailers. Mr. Gonzales is also the Vice President of Product for G51, a thought leadership group that helps accelerate the speed of innovation and collaboration for corporations, startups, universities, and students.


Miles Miller – Judge
Senior Vice President, Bank of America Private Bank

Miles Miller has had a 30-plus year banking and investment career focusing primarily on business and transactions in central, south, and west Texas. His responsibilities include working directly with high net worth individuals, real estate developers, oil and gas operators, and technology start-ups; advising in structuring, underwriting, presenting, and negotiating complex credit opportunities. He has been with Dun and Bradstreet, Merrill Lynch, BBVA of America, Southside Bank, and currently Sr. Vice President with Bank of American Private Bank-US Trust.

Miles’s non-bank business activities involve family agricultural operations in Crockett and Pecos counties of Texas. He and his wife have twin high school boys at Regents School of Austin. The family enjoys golf and following the boy’s baseball activities throughout the year.

Miles received a B. S. in Economics and Finance from Texas A&M University.
